Pedestrian/crosswalk safety

Motor vehicle operators and pedestrians should use extreme caution on the streets around the University. California law gives pedestrians the right of way when they are using marked crosswalks. Pedestrians should always use marked crosswalks when crossing streets. Pedestrians who cross streets other than at marked crosswalks are subject to citations from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and/or California Highway Patrol.
